Thanks so much to everyone who helped us win this Staples commercial through their Small Business Push contest! We were one of five winners selected from hundreds of nationwide entries, and we couldn’t have done it without your help. :)
The commercial is airing on OKC television stations now (Lifetime and TLC, amongst others). Since most of of you are outside that area, here’s the video locals can see through June 1, 2012.
Staples generously re-shot our commercial; they loved the original but wanted something that best represented our paper flowers and helped build business. Thank you, Staples!! :D
We had a great time with the creative team from McCann, who included us on a whirlwind tour of four states and five video sessions. They were a blast to work with, and as you can tell from the video above, wonderfully talented. The day was definitely our pleasure.
Our original commercial was shot by Mat Miller of 1984 Studios in OKC, and featured OSU student Taylor Manes. Hundreds of paper flowers, big and small, were made over the course of three weeks. We’re working to make it available again soon.

It’s been so busy with wedding season I just realized its almost time for the MTV Movie Awards!! Our paper flowers will be part of GBK’s celebrity gift lounge (thank you to www.TheArtisanGroup.org for the opportunity!!) in less than two weeks - how cool is that?!?!!
